So you wanna look good in cyberspace? Let’s start in MyProfile. You can turn your MyProfile into anything you want using the control panel (top right) as we have designed some very nifty & easy to use technology for you.
a. MyDesign
The best place to start is MyDesign, as this sets the design and layout of MyProfile. Probably best to read the Introduction first – read away.
Then go into ProfileLayout where you move, add or remove the various functional blocks in your profile.
- Move existing blocks by simply cutting then pasting the block to the desired location.
- Add a new block by locating the curser where you want the block go and click the block name (right hand side).
- Remove blocks by highlighting and deleting it.
- Hit Update (bottom left) to save your changes.
Play around with it; you will get the hang of it very quickly.
Still in MyDesign, go to AboutMeLayout where you can move, add or delete the various bits of information about you in your profile using the same process as ProfileLayout (previous paragraph).
Lastly in MyDesign, go to Colours&Design to set the colours of your profile’s Background, ProfileBoxes, ProfileText, Headings, SpeechBubble and Text. On the left hand side you will see the CSSWizard. First set your background Colour by clicking the box, or SelectWallpaper from a number of images. Your Background can Repeat in various ways, as well as be Fixed or Scroll, Top or Bottom, Left or Right. Just play around with the CSSWizard and you will get the hang of it very quickly. Any changes you make will appear immediately on the dummy profile next to the CSSWizard. Click on UpdateFromCSSWizard to save your changes.
b. AboutMe
Now you have created the look and layout of your profile, time to fill it with interesting things about you and your world.
On sign-up you entered some basic info about yourself - you can change this in AboutMe, adding test, images & video code in AlittleBitMoreAboutYou section.
In MyDetails you can set your profile to Private so only Friends can see it, or Public so any online registered ClickPink member can see it. Further personal information can be changed in PersonalDetails and MyLocation.
c. MyPictures
Next, you can add images with MyPictures. Click on UploadPictures, select an Album, or create a NewAlbum, then Browse to upload your images to your chosen album and fill in details as you wish.
d. MyMusic
In MyMusic you can download five MP3 tracks that will play when your profile is opened up. Simply Browse, fill in the details and let the beats go on.
e. MyBulletins
Your profile should be looking pretty good by now. Next you can start communicating with your friends sending messages through MyBulletins. Click on NewBulletins, tap in what you have to say and hey presto all your friends get your bulletin. You can also see all the bulletins your Friends have been sending by clicking on MyNetwork.
f. MyBlog
You can create a blog on your profile for everyone to read and enjoy. In MyBlog, click on WriteBlog to fill in Date, Title, Tags ArticleBody. The ArticleBody can be text that you type or cut and paste, or Video where the code is pasted once you have clicked on the HTML icon at the page bottom, or images that you paste once you have clicked on the Tree icon.
Once you have written your blog you can submit it to the Magazine by clicking Yes at the page bottom. The best submissions will be included.
g. Mood
Having done all of that you should be feeling pretty happy with yourself, so why not let cyberspace know by setting your Mood button (top right, above control panel).
