Grace Jones Live in Copenhagen

 Grace Jones live in Copenhagen

My fucking dream came true! I finally got to see Grace perform live a couple of months ago in Copenhagen, Denmark. I stood by the stage and waited for about four hours, but it was worth the NOT-peeing-for-six-hours wait. As usual, Grace was at her very best. She performed four songs (My Jamaican Guy, Walking in the Rain, Pull Up to the Bumper and Slave to the Rhythm), and she somehow managed to stay on stage for about an hour!

Dreams can come true, and it sure did for me! Never give up hope!

I Won`t Shed a Tear

What a fabulous fag-hag Lina would make. Paw is a lucky man. Not that I'm insinuating he's gay... {ahem}

I don't even know where to begin with this post. So I won't. What I will say is that Eurovision, especially this song is soo wrong its right, like watching Wife Swap. You know its wrong on every conceivable level, but you cant get enough of it.

Fuck economic, social and political reasons, This and this alone is the reason countries are queuing up to join the European Union.

Really loved this when they performed it live last year. Not entirely sure what's going on in the video (what are the dancing doll torsos all about?) but who cares, it's fabulous dahling!

Oh da boyz, they wanna sex me!

It`s ok to be gay!

A friend of mine sent me this hideous thing the other day. The message is positive, but the way it's presented is way too gay for my liking. Maybe it will help someone out there, though. Go ahead, enjoy!

Its o.k. 2 B gay - MyVideo

Scooch have won the BBC's Making Your Mind Up final and will be representing the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki on 12 May.

Their song, 'Flying the Flag', isn't the best in the world, however, Scooch pulled off a performance that is high-camp at its best - all singing all dancing trolley dolly froth. Hurrah!

Eurovision Song Contest 2007: Sarbel

Greece has selected 'Yassou Maria' sung by Sarbel as their entry into the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest - and he's British!

Sarbel's routine is very similar to the performance given by Greek top totty, Sakis, back in the 2004 Contest. Familiar memories come flooding back of hip girations, exposed treasure trail and sexy choreography...ahhh! This is what Eurovision needs and we can rely on Greece to provide it.

Eurovision 2007: Making Your Mind Up contestants

The contestants fighting to represent the UK in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest were announced this week. They include:

1. Scooch - Flying the Flag (For You)
2. Cyndi - I'll Leave My Heart
3. Brian Harvey - I Can
4. Big Brovaz - Big Bro Thang
5. Hawkins and Brown - They Don’t Make 'Em Like They Used To
6. Liz McClarnon - (Don't It Make You) Happy!

Having listened to the 30 second clips available on the BBC's Making Your Mind Up site, I'm not that impressed with the songs (why this should surprise me, I'm not quite sure), however, if I had to pick a favourite I'd support Big Brovaz - Big Bro Thang...although I'd love it if Scooch won. Anyway, yet again it looks like the UK will be represented by a song that is second-rate drivel.

What's your opinion?

Shakira + Beyonce

It's kind of growing on me. The video is definatley from the Beyonce school of unoriginality originality.

The 2007 Eurovision Song Contest is fast creeping upon us with many competing countries having selected their entry already. This includes Denmark, who have selected drag queen 'DQ' to perform 'Drama Queen' at the semi-final on Thursday 10 May in Helsinki, Finland. The final is on Saturday 12 May...hurrah!

Robbie Williams - She`s Madonna

Robbie Williams is courting controversy with his latest single 'She's Madonna' from the album Rudebox. Not only is the single a real drag starring a host of drag queens including Robbie donning wig and dress, but the inspiration for the single may set a few feathers flying.

The story goes that when Robbie dated TV presenter Tania Strecker back in 2000, she told him of Guy Richie's parting words before dumping her and moving on to Madonna - "Look, you know I really love you, but she's Madonna". These words have stayed with Robbie as key material for a song.

Although Madonna has approved the song, apparently Guy is not so happy that these words have been imortalised by Robbie.

Robbie Williams duets with Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys on the track, and its already being hailed as a pop masterpiece. 'She's Madonna' has already been released in mainland Europe and its official UK release is due in March 2007.
